While Engagedly integrates with the renowned HRIS systems for SSO there are still others that are not listed in our Catalog. In this case, if your HRIS supports SAML 2.0 you can easily establish SSO by following some basic rules/ mentioned below.
Step 1: Check and Confirm that your HRIS supports SAML 2.0
Step 2: Log in to your Engagedly Account (You must be a Site Administrator or have the necessary permission to set up SSO). Go to Settings → Integrations → SAML SSO → and click on +ADD (as shown below)

Step 3: Enter a preferred name (Identifier Name) and hit Save.
Once Saved the system will generate the ACS URL and Entity ID. These need to be copied to your HRIS in the next steps.
Step 4: Log in to your HRIS (You must be a Site Administrator or have the necessary permission to set up SSO) and find the single sign-on configuration section and enter the following information by copying it from Engagedly.
(Depending on your HRIS, you may need to add a custom-application (Engagedly) in your HRIS before you can get to the Single Sign-on section for the same)
Identity Provider Issuer/Entity Id: Copy and paste the following:
Sign in to the Engagedly Admin to get this variable that is generated for you.Identity Provider HTTP POST URL (or Reply URL or ACS URL) : Copy and paste the following:
Sign in to the Engagedly Admin to get this variable that is generated for you.
SAVE the changes.
Step 5: Download the Certificate from your HRIS -> Open the certificate file in a text editor -> Copy the whole content including the -- BEGIN CERTIFICATE-- and -- END CERTIFICATE-- lines -> Paste it the Certificate field in Engagedly.
Step 6: Go back to your HRIS and Copy the below two variables and Paste them in the respective fields in Engagedly. SAVE the changes,
Step 7: Now to test SSO, go back to Engagedly and edit the recently saved configuration and click on Test Connection. If your Test Connection is successful, select the Enable SAML checkbox and Save. Your SSO set up is now complete. Please log out of Engagedly and try it out.

Step 8: You have successfully integrated Your HRIS with Engagedly for SSO. If your HRIS needs access to be assigned to users in order to be able to use SSO for Login, you would need to provide that for all the user accounts in your system.
